Helping pets in need valley wide.

Ever wanted to help pets in need but didn't know where to start?

Look no further, we have made it easy for you.  The Arizona Pet Project  and the Nagi Foundation have partnered with AZ Pet Stylist to create the Pet Love Drive.

The drive is simple, for the entire month of April, we’ll be collecting donations of all items dog and cat related, just drop it off with us and we will take care of the rest!

Donations can be anything dog or cat related such as new or used:

·       Collars and leashes
·       Food
·       Bedding
·       Crates and carriers
·       Toys
·       Treats
·       Pet clothing
·       Flea and Tick treatment
·       Cash

What good do your donations do?

Your donations will support the following programs that reduce pet homelessness, disease and overpopulation:

Across Maricopa County

1.     Shelter Intervention: By assisting pet owners in crisis with services and resources (pet food, veterinary care, pet deposits, etc…). The Arizona Pet Project keeps more than 600 dogs and cats in their homes and out of Valley shelters each year. It is estimated this program saved Maricopa County Animal Care & Control $500,000 last year, not to mention hundreds of lives by keeping pets and their families together, and shelter kennels empty.

2.     Free Spay & Neuter: Since 2005, The Arizona Pet Project has funded over 105,000 free spay & neuter surgeries for pets in low-income communities. Spay & neuter is the single most effective solution for reducing the number of animals entering shelters each year which saves pet lives. In fact, euthanasia has decreased by 81% in Maricopa County since the program began!

3.     SPAY / NEUTER / VACCINATE / MEDICAL TREATMENT: The Nagi Foundation meets the most immediate medical needs of the community’s animals with free of charge high volume spay and neuter services. In addition to providing spay and neuter services, we provide free vaccinations, microchips, and medical treatments to the animals that come to our clinics. By offering these services we can prevent disease and increase the lifespan of animals living in Tribal Land.

4.      BEHAVIOR TRAINING:  There are a number of pet behavior issues that face our community members. The Nagi Foundation is committed to helping to improve the human animal bond and enrich the lives of the people who own them. We offer dog training classes free of charge at our monthly Animal Health Clinics.

Don't have an appointment with a pet related business in April? OR maybe you would like an opportunity to speak with a representative for the AZ Pet Project or the Nagi Foundation?

On Saturday, April 14, 2018 we’ll be showing our love for pets during a special event at the East Valley Animal Hospital.  Swing by with your donations between the hours of 10am and noon, and be entered to win a gift certificate to be trained in Pet CPR and First Aid and many other prizes. Better still, there will be FREE donuts from Krispy Crème, while supplies last..
